Degens for Marmots. The internet's weirdest bailout gets a token.

$OnlyMarms is the meme coin born from the viral OnlyMarms story. One hundred percent of creator royalties go straight to the M.A.D Lab to keep marmot science alive — and Julien Martin has already claimed them.

When federal grants dried up, the marmots got an OnlyFans.

When federal grants dried up, the team at the M.A.D Lab (Marmot Adaptive Dynamics Lab) got creative. In July 2026 they launched OnlyMarms — a cheeky OnlyFans page sharing photos of their wild marmots to keep six decades of alpine field science funded.

The internet did what the internet does: the page went viral. Degens saw the moment and spun up a meme coin, $OnlyMarms, pledging creator royalties straight back to the lab.

In a plot twist worthy of the timeline, lab lead Julien Martin claimed the royalties, endorsed the token, and added it to the lab's fundraising alongside the OnlyFans page — because every burrow needs more than one entrance.

Letters to the Editor

Marmot questions, answered.

Is this token official?+

It's a fan-made, community-driven meme coin inspired by the OnlyMarms story. The M.A.D Lab did not create the token, but lab lead Julien Martin has claimed the creator royalties and publicly supports the mission.

How do the donations actually work?+

Creator royalties from trading activity accrue to a wallet controlled by the lab. Julien Martin has already claimed them once and can continue to do so — 100% of that flow funds marmot research.

What is the M.A.D Lab?+

The Marmot Adaptive Dynamics Lab — a government-funded field research group operating continuously since 1962 studying marmot populations, behavior, and climate response in the Rocky Mountains.

Is this financial advice?+

Absolutely not. It's a meme coin. Only ape in with what you can afford to lose, and let it be for the marmots.
